Bruce Willey JD, CPA, CExP
A proud graduate of The University of Iowa, Bruce received a degree in accounting in 1985 and his Juris Doctorate, with distinction in 1990. Bruce has been working with small to medium-sized businesses across the country for more than a decade, helping them navigate business and tax law in a variety of situations. His services include assisting with business start-ups, operations, growth, asset protection, exiting planning and estate planning.
Bruce thrives on working with entrepreneurs, providing a range of proactive tax, legal and business solutions to help them both address and prevent problems. His clients range from individuals in the initial stages of a business venture to mature companies from a variety of industries, including manufacturing, real estate, construction, health care, consulting, IT, sales and ecommerce. He shares his experience in the area of business and tax law as a frequent contributor to the Wells Fargo small business webcast series, as well as the popular entrepreneurial website StartupNation.com.
When not helping his clients with their business, Bruce enjoys traveling, spending time in the mountains and snow skiing with his wife and 2 children and cheering on his beloved University of Iowa Hawkeyes.
Joe Gravert, JD
Joe is focused on assisting clients in all aspects of business and tax law with an emphasis on individual and business tax planning, formation and corporate maintenance, estate matters, tax research, small business and individual tax returns. He assists clients in responses to the IRS for notices and audits.
Prior to joining Willey Law, Joe worked in private practice as an intellectual property attorney and in-house at a large multinational corporation in Minnesota. During law school, he worked in the Technology Transfer and Licensing Department at the University of Iowa Research Foundation. Joe received his J.D. from the University of Iowa College of Law and his B.S. in Physics from St. Ambrose University.
Nicole Denly Dighton, Paralegal
Nicole Denly Dighton has more than 25 years experience as a paralegal and has been an integral part of the team since 2006. Working closely with Bruce and you to prepare the documents needed to ensure that your unique situation is applied, implemented and maintained. Her experience and dedication to detail coupled with her genuine commitment to each of our clients makes Nicole a tremendous asset for you.
